HELPING OUT
OF HOME

PINK STICKER.PNG

When Covid put us out of a job, the economy and the mood were both a bit troubled.

So we came up with Peckham Power.

A zero-budget campaign to uplift our local community and promote local businesses.

We humbly did everything ourselves.

From getting people to take part, to putting posters in the shop windows.

We also got involved on Instagram.

Sharing the personal stories of local businesses and their founders during lockdown, when visiting in person wasn't possible.

We flyposted positive messages across Peckham, to bring it all together.

As a nice bonus, our posters made a cameo in both trailer and movie for breakout director Raine Allen-Miller's debut film 'Rye Lane'.

Peckham Power also got featured in the news, including The Drum.

And it was permanently immortalised in oil paintings by local artist Mark Pearson.
